I went with using the stock XJ main leaf, and used all of the Dakota leafs but the main leaf and overload leaf, left me up to clear 33"s (need trimming, and more to come as well), and it's a pretty easy way to go, didnt even touch shackles.

Bah, it aint that bad with no headliner. Get a louder stereo to combat the noise, and keep your windows cracked to keep the heat down (although it still does start cooking), so park in the shade. Its better than a sagging headliner, but not better than a new one, but who wants to do that much...

My *8 just pulls off, but i think at one point there were some screws holding it on, I kept having to take it off, and its definitely a tight enough fit without em, that i left em out. Check a chiltons for the location of the screws, or just search around.

I dont have a front axle disco... or at least as far as I know. if I did Id hae the vacuum housing on the front axle correct? Cause I dont got nothing of the sort, nor do I see any 4 nipple vacuum thing. FYI this is a 242 not a 231.

When I give my '88 gas, sometimes the Part Time light will light up, altghough it doesnt feel at all like im in 4wd, and itll go away after a little bit, or when i get off the gas. Does this sound like anything? Confusing the hell outta me.
