I've got an instrument cluster from an '87 XJ with gauges instead of the idiot lights. I can send photos if you're interested. $35 seems like a fair price.
It seems like the question is often asked about how the Mopar HD radiator is different than the standard one, but the question never seems to be answered. I just bought the Mopar HD radiator and the difference is that the core is 1-5/8 inches thick versus 1 inch for the standard radiator...
A very long time ago, Ed Stevens had some XJ info pages that were hosted on AOL. Does anyone know if that info still exists somewhere? Looks like Ed isn't accepting private messages.
My '98 occasionally doesn't like to start the morning after a good heat soak the previous day. When the weather is moderate or otherwise, it starts up immediately whether the engine is hot or cold. My guess is that I have an injector that leaks when the engine gets a very hot heat soak after...

If you live around the Seattle area and are looking for a D44, there are three of them under XJs in the Pull-A-Part yard in Lynnwood. I was quite surprised to find three of them there yesterday. They sell for $86.50 if you're interested.
A friend of my daugher has a '01 TJ with the "malfunction" light illuminated. Assuming this is what is often called the "check engine" light, how do I read out the codes? Can I get the light to flash the codes for me?
