    Ok, I have a 2000 cherokee 4.0. When I shut it off and the engine is warm/hot, and then go to turn it back on and it hasn't cooled down, it runs very rough. Rough as in putters and shakes and after I give it a little gas it runs fine. Sometimes the check engine light comes on and it runs...

    and yes according to that diagram, the adjustable end goes in the frame side, not axle

    You can choose frame or axle end. I (username matthagey, long story) chose frame end flex joints because Rustys recommended it.
