Not even sure what the regulator looks like. is it the thing attached to the motor? still curious how to adjust it too.
Also, this started one day when I was wheeling in mud. any chance the regulator just needs cleaned?
Yeah, I had to come into work early this morning. Got to sleep at 10PM and back up at midnight thirty to work 2am-2pm. May not be extremely clear in my wording. My brain isn't functioning all that well today.
Never pretended to have all the answers.... definitely far from it. Simply asked him what issues he ran into and stated that with my setup I think I'll be alright. My mind IS made up. I have what I have, but no reason to not get feedback from fellow members on their personal experiences.

Yeah, I'll agree with this one. I just picked up my 35's tonight and really wish I would have went that route to begin with.
A LOT more that I could have done better, but it was all a learning experience. I wouldn't change any of it.
Right now I'm leaning towards Maxxis Trepadors or Creepy Crawlers, but MTZ's aren't totally out of the running especially since I can get them straight from Walmart for $1060. I'm waiting on a quote from a local tire dealer on the Treps right now.

Ok, I'm finishing up my LA upgrade and swapping in my locked D44/9" with 4.88's. I currently have 33" MTZ's that I bought when the '92 XJ was still my DD. It is now primarily a trail rig, but will see some street time to/from the trails. I'm debating whether I should go with 35 or 37" tires...
