The last year of the XJ! I built it up mostly for overland type travel and off highway travel. Great 4x4 rig for the snow (skiing etc.) Has been used and wheeled, but well maintained. Sad to see it go but I needed something with more seating so I got a Tahoe.

So I replaced my injectors yesterday (including new o-rings). Had a problem removing two of the injectors from the fuel rail due to rust inside the socket area. I got the new ones in using some lubricant but I must have damaged the o-rings because I can smell fuel vapors coming out of the...

The front drive shaft hits the triangular exhaust pipe flange near the oil pan on my '01 XJ when the PS wheel is at full stuff. I've thought of a few things I could do to prevent this:
Miss align the front axel to the DS
Add more bump stop to limit travel and axel pull to the PS
Grind down...
Tire chains for snow wheeling? I'm new to the area and the mountains. I've heard some different things about requirements for chain use over the passes with a 4x4. If I need to get them for legally driving over the passes should I be thinking about how they might function for snow wheeling...
