    Front leaf swap

Yea that was always next on my to do list, as in hot springs the steering felt like a wet noodle. Throw a lunchbox locker in the front and that thing will go everywhere!

    Front leaf swap

Those H1s have pressed centers in them, sitting at 3.5in of backspacing. The wheel spacers/adapters added 1in to track width, so about 2.5in backspacing. LOL, thanks guys, but I wouldnt go very far with that greenbeans. It worked well for what it is, a budge wheeler. Im envious of you guys...

    My new buggy build......

Or just use some c-bushings that have different angle built into them. Any of the bronco places should have them in polyurethane. Im under the impression that the rubbers flex better tho. When are you going to be up at the shop working on it again? If I can ever get in town at a decent hour...

My Rear Winch Bumper build. 56K beware.

Looks good, and doesnt stick out too far as I was thinking it would. You could have tucked in a little bit more by cutting a bit out of between the 'framerails' and moving it closer to the fuel tank. But as it is isnt too bad. Im very very anxious to see what you do with the front. Ive yet to...

    My new buggy build......

A1 quoted me $300 for a Dodge non disconnect LP60. Hub to hub. They had a few Fords out there at the same time, and Im assuming the prices were the same. FWIW. !!!1 Just figured Id stir the pot.

    Another xj built !

Most guys really like the 37in radials for on road driving. The 36in bias SUCK. They flat spot HORRIBLY. Just my .02

    Another xj built !

LoL, mines not too awesome. Just a stock XJ with drop brackets, 4.5 lift+ spacers on front, with Dakota bastard packs in rear. Stock everything else. I just happened to win a couple of auctions on Gov Liq for those wheels/tires and kept a set for my self for the future. Came across a set of...

    Another xj built !

Ok, so I lied. After posting that and seeing the pictures on here, it gave me the kick in the butt to get something done! So I mounted the old Wranglers up, put the adapters on the Heepie and put them on to see how much sawzall and BFH work Im going to have to do! Hope Im not hijacking your...

    Another xj built !

HAH, mine havent even made it on the heep yet! But the guys that ARE hard on them do bend the lips of the 8 bolt wheels as they are thinner than the 12 bolts. But Im talking about BASHING those rigs. It'll be fiiiiiine.......

    Another xj built !

FWIW, I have 4 12 bolt wheels and 1 8 bolt. All recentered with the pressed centers. The 8 bolts are light enough to easily notice while picking up. Havent weighed them. For a mild rig the 8 bolts are fine. If you are really into bashing them, add the rock rings. I used the 12 bolts just because...

That makes me feel better that maybe my Dakota pack will clear the 36s with trimming!

    Another xj built !

What springs did you use for the bastard packs in the rear? Im looking to get the 36in RTII's to fit on mine with the same wheels but with 3.5in backspacing.

    5.3L Vortec V8 Conversion

Only bad thing about the F-Body setup is it puts the alternator at the very bottom. I dont LOOK for giant mud holes, but I do find them sometimes and dont really have a way around them. I would rather not have my alternator dragging mud. I do like the Kwick Peformance brackets. Truck stuff is...
