OBD II is definately not 94. I know it's between 95 and 97 and if the man up there says it's 96, then I'm sure that's right.
But the question still stands... Does anyone know if the OBD 1 v. OBD II changed the transmission itself any?
The ZJ had the AW4 only in 93, then when to the chrysler according to novak. I'm wondering though, can I use a 96 and up XJ tranny? This article leads me to beleive that even though the standalone computer got incorporated into the main unit, the tranny retained all its connections and such...
I drilled and welded 1/4" plate over the front and that worked for a little while. The problem is that the back hole was wallowed out as well so the bolt was essentially in single sheer. It then wallowed out the plate. SO, now I know that I have to fix the front hole AND the back hole.
in 91 with the HO was the introduction of the 23 spline according to Novak. I'm just worried about the electronics.
So as long as I'm looking at an XJ model post 91 and up with one 02 sensor I'm looking good. thanks.
can you use a 1993 ZJ's AW4 in a 1993 XJ? They have the same spline counts and all, so it should be a bolt in affair, but are the electronics all the same? For that matter, are the electronics any different with regard to the transmission from 1991 to 2001 in the XJ aw4's?
I'm going to need...
I'm actually talking about the bushing not the tie rod end looking end. The hole on my axle mount is ovaled, and I'm getting a good bit of play there and the wobble.
I'm not sure of any problem with that bracket, but I'll check it out since you mention it.
what are the dimensions of the stock trackbar bushing? I need the OD that slips into the tube, the width inside the tube, the width outside the tube, and the ID. Any measurements anyone knows would be very helpful.
I need to get a bushing with the same dimensions, but a bigger bolt hole...
