The wires are ran under my windshield gasket into the engine compartment.
Here is where they went into the gasket.
Heres the gasket im talking about for those who dont know.
And heres a front view of how they look.
I got some 1/8th steel on decided to make some today.
here is the two pieces before welding.
I bent the steel to wrap around the body.
Then bent the light mounting part to a 90*.
Cut the angles into them to come out level and straight.
Then welded them up and grinded them clean.
Then I...
did i see 8" of lift with drop brackets. ive heard of 5" and them. But wont you be back to a decent angle at that height.
I went long arms the first time and id have to say it was the best purchase by far.
my Re hack and tap came in today. I got the front driveshaft yesterday. Waiting on the spicer to come in.
Anyone have a good write up to follow on installing this.
And will the front driveshaft need to be shortened. I have 5.5~6 inches of lift on a 99 xj with the 8.25
very interested in this. I have about 6.5 inches in the front and about 5.5 inches in the rear. I did a bastard pack from a lifted mj. I also took the mj shackle. It adds about and 1" itself. But my shackle angle now is almost vertical. Will this level me out and give me better flex and ride?
Just ordered one for my 99 xj.
I have around 5.5 to 6 inches of lift and was wondering if the Xj front shaft will fit perfectly or will it need to be shortened.
I have the C8.25
