I had a similar sound coming from my front end, and it was a loose track bar at the axle mount.

    smittybuilt winches

I have two. I did have a failure on one after multiple hard pulls, the brake mechanism failed, and the winch completely stopped working. The motor would still turn, but the line would not go in or out. I called smittybuilt, and they sent me the parts needed to repair it free of charge with no...

    brake convesion on 8.25

All you have to do is take the bleeder off the front of the proportioning valve. There is a spring and valve type assembly inside. On the valve assembly there is a rubber o-ring. Just take it off, and put everything back together. This gives you full line presseure to the rear brakes, or atleast...

    brake convesion on 8.25

I used a set of drilled and slotted brakes from a crown vic cop car I found in the local junkyard. I welded the backing plate holes, and had new holes cut. I had to open the center of the rotors up, and make minor adjustments to the backing plates. I also made the crown vic emergency brake lines...

    Fuel Pump Electrical Help

I have a similar problem, but I try to start for just a few seconds and after two or three attempts it starts right up. Seems like the fuel pump isn't sending enough pressure to the fuel rail.

BFG Mud-Terrain or M/T Baja Radial MTZ

I watched my brothers jeep just kill it at Superlift Park on a set of 33x12.50 bfg mud terrains. He went places I had trouble with 35 boggers. We are both locked. I was very impressed with how they rode on the road, and gripped the wet rocks out there.

    Anybody run this?

I haven't used this exact product, but I do run a 6.5 inch short arm kit from them. I've been completely satisfied with their stuff, and their nice people to deal with.

    8.25 disc brake conversion

I should have mentioned it is a 98. So I assume I've got the dual diaphram booster.

    8.25 disc brake conversion

I just finished my conversion last night, and I'm less than impressed with the results considering the time it took to get everything to work. Is there a cost effective way to increase line pressure to the rear calipers. I already did the proportioning valve mod, and it maybe helped a little...

    long arm upgrade

I don't have their long arm kit, but I have bought parts from them before. They were very knowledgeable, and friendly. Several of the guys that work there drive built xj's. I would think they must have some clue what they are doing.
