unless you have lockout hubs or a disco axle, its the same. but if you had a disco axle... haha i'm not sure how you would do that, would have to figure out how to engage the axle actuator but not the transfer case

is it really worth it to get the Timken bearings? ie, i have an 87 d30 and this ebay auction has a PAIR of bearings with a 1 year warranty for 114$ shipped. I know the timken's are supposed to be good, but for the same warranty length why spend the extra 90$? ebay auction...

So i live near Pismo Beach here in California now and i was wondering how well our xj's handle some slight jumps... i have trimmed fenders running 31x10.5's on 8" wide steelies and GC front springs with Skyjacker Nitro shocks up front and a bastard leaf pack in the rear with the stock shocks...

What do you replace the renix vacuum set up with? I know its from a newer 4.0 but specifically, an XJ (i know the other 4.0's were similar but are they the same)? And what year has the new harness and could i use it with the original valve cover if i cleaned it and vut down the stacks and sealed...

Is the dana that much better then the 8.25"? i read the 29 spline 8.25"s are pretty comparable and a lot easier to find.
