    Repairing a clutch master cylinder.

Been there done both of em....get a decent quality master cyl, skip the autozone crap cuz it's cheap...you'll replace it repeatedly, i found the NAPA MC has a bigger cylinder bore than the autozone MC which cuts down on the internal pressure(?)....follow ALL directions on priming the cylinder...

    Pitman arm ain't moving.

i just soaked the M.F.er with liquid wrench for a few days before removing it...came right off my 87 with only a few grunts of force on the pitman arm puller

My clutch makes a whining noise

If you do end up replacing it, get a MOPAR slave/t-out bearing unit. I used those cheap ass auto zone/NAPA/advance auto crap and they lasted anywhere from 10-25k miles before they went again.....yes, I've been through 3 slave cylinders in 35k miles......what a f*cking PITA. The MOPAR has held...

    Front fender replacement

installing is tricky too...loosely bolt it back in place, then use something to wedge into the gaps to make sure its aligned (straight gaps), then tighten it down....unless you dont care about how the gaps look

    Blinkers stuck "on"

    1. Check your bulbs in the front 2. Check the sockets in the front (use a meter to test for power/ground to the socket prongs) 3. Check for power at the headlight/blinker connection harness located behind the driver's headlight (might be inside under the airbox, you might have to dig to get it...

    tranny removal

The top bolts are tough to get at...I used 1/2in drives with a mess of short extensions and universals to get at them. A second set of hands to guide the socket onto the bolt is helpful too although I didn't have that luxury. You *may* be able to get at them through the shifter cut-out inside...

    2.5L backfires?!?

That would mean bad rings? Its intermittant...happens sometimes, then goes aay, then comes back, then goes away...it can last for 5-10 minutes then not rear up again for a few weeks.

    2.5L backfires?!?

I have had similar problems in the past. Does yours backfire through the exhaust or through the intake? Mine was thru the intake.....sort of a "hiccuping" with a power loss while driving.....never had a starting problem though.... BTW, it's an 87 MJ 2.5 with TBI edit: oop -re-read your...

    4cyl running temps?

The temp was fine at 210 with the OEM replacement radiator and 2nd thermo, now with the 3rd thermo it runs just under 220. I wonder if the parts monkey at NAPA gave me a hotter thermo.

    4cyl running temps?

Noticed I had a coolant leak...looked like the thermo, replaced it, no prob. Get MJ running again, water pump was the leaky culprit, just along the very top edge...not too bad will replace it later. Noticed that my thermostat opens up when engine temp reaches 220. Idles just above 210, but...

    Windshield Wipers are incredibly SLOW!

I had a bolt come loose and jam up the linkage...wipers went rreeaallllyy slow, then died all together. Bought a new motor, and discovered that it was only a linkage bolt...lucky me! $1000 is rediculous, the wipers are under the "vents" at the outside bottom of the windshield (between the hood...
