    Moving has begun

Moving is a pain. We bought a new place 2yrs ago and now finally I am moving. 2hrs away and will be a few trips with the trailer to get it all moved. Load it with the gantry here and unload it with the cherry picker at the new place. The new shop is 36x48, my current one is 24x48 so I will be...

    Northwest fest

I have always enjoyed Naches, there are a variety of trails that fit most any vehicle. So the stockish guys can have as much fun as the tons guys. Not sure of any other area that can provide this????

    HF Gantry Widened

So I bit the bullet and bought a HF 1T Gantry, not a big HF fan but it has features I liked and thought I would give it a go. Issue is stock sucks and it too narrow to straddle my flat bed trailer. I did some research and actually found a gantry with a similar design to how I widened mine. 3/8"...

Never having a place to keep the fab tools organized when working on a project. I think I've got it down now. Used a base from a HF rolling stool.

    Aw4 transmission

With no power to the solenoids you should get 1,3,4 when moving the floor shifter. If it is always in 3rd when in the drive position then it sounds like that solenoid circuit is allowing pressure to hold it in 3rd. 3rd gear is the #2/B solenoid ON by itself and the other shift solenoid not working.

    Just a beater Commando

It is an entire new front disc brake diff assembly. CJ7 maybe?? Just came with the pile of parts. It should easily fit 15" rims since it's not a newer disc setup. There is someone who makes a kit I have seen guys install. No idea where they are getting it from.

    Just a beater Commando

Came with a spare motor in pieces, 2 sets of heads, it runs good. Need to get the battery secure and a brake booster for when I get the "new" front diff in. D44 rear, D30 front. Previous owner did a spring over in the rear, so I think I'll do the same on the front and then flip the tie rod to...

    Just a beater Commando

Just bought this last weekend. 304, TH400, previous owner did the lunch box front and rear and 4.56 gears for it as well as a disc brake front I need to put in with the new gears. Body is rough, but then I don't have to worry about scratching the paint. It runs but I need to do a couple minor...

    Moving to WA state

Spokane area house prices are a lot more reasonable, not sure how rent is. We bought a house up there last fall, well two shops, some acreage and a house. :) The Right side of the state is a lot more Good Ole Boy, but there isn't the wheelin areas right here, gotta travel to the Cascades a few...

    Corbeau seat height

My Corbeau are tall and wide. I beat the crap out of the tunnel to get them to sit lower. Or I could have dropped them down my moving them toward the door and sit offset from the steering wheel. No way you could sit in my XJ.
