I did the job today... took apart the two O2 sensors (Upstream and Downstream), cleaned first with a rag, then with Carburator Cleaner, let them dry,then with some electrical cleaner spray on the inside the little holes, then with a electrical rotary dremel with the fiber attachment cleaned...

Hello. My XJ 1999 is consuming a lot of gas.. I already cleaned throotle body with its IAC sensor, Map sensor and TPS sensor... also changed rotor and distribuitor cap, changed spark plugs for the OEM Champion reference brandnew. Changed Air filter. I have OEM tires size running, no changes...

Thanks Matthew.... I found a text regarding this issue on the FSM for XJ and I adjusted it... it is very easy and yes, it constrols the shift in some way. JorgeA

Hello... I just clean up the whole throotle body but when I connected again there are two cables going to it.. one for the accelerator coming form inside the cabin and other from the transmision (I have no control cruise). The cable from the transmision has a little push botton for adjustment...

Hello... yesterday I was operating the window driver side and suddenly the glass doesn´t go up or down but the motor runs fine...after it, the glass has a free movement like it has loose a pin or something like that. anyone knows how to fix it? Thanks JorgeA

Hello. I bought a used 99 XJ laredo, auto and I think something is worng with the A/C, eventhough the A/C works when I put the speed in 1 on the control and temperature cold the electric Fan begins to work even if the engine is still hot or normal temperature. Is it right?, or I have to check...
