I have a new style, peanut shaped, remote and wonder if the dealer would be able to make it work on my 98? I know they changed between these years.
Thanks
Also noticed that clunking occurs during accelleration and yes seems to be coming from crossmember. Replacing the tanny mount tonight. I will also use a washer to fill the gap in the motor mount through bolt.
OK, plannig to replace the tranny mount. Should I try to realign the engine first? or once the tranny mount remove and everything loose. Also, lifting on the bellhousing ok for supporting all of this?
Thanks
Clunk occurs in the steering when turning mostly, but sometimes when spring compresses during normal driving. It feels like it is coming from the drivers side, like the track bar ball joint/mount. I am running a rusty's track bar (not hd) on 3.5" lift w/ 31's. Only occurs when wet, ie during...

Thanks
After installing 3" lift a year ago, the steering vibrates over rough roads and some bumps. Its not all that bad, but i'd like to firm things up? What could be causing this?
