I have removed my factory roof rack because it was falling apart (too many ladders and lumber hauled around). I found all the bolts were rusting where they go through the roof. Luckily it was just surface rust, so I sanded, cleaned and sprayed the roof with raptor liner (great stuff so far)...

but if the a/c is on the fan will cycle with the a/c clutch even when starting up a cold engine with the a/c on
Mine didn't die but out of frustration I had mine changed because of a intermiten miss that almost drove me crazy for about 20000 miles. I finally replaced it with 105,000 on the clock
Could possibly be a high or low press. switch/sensor failure, that can cause the system not to cycle and the electric fan turns on & off when the a/c clutch engages and disengages.
You might look at the CPS (crank position sensor) or some call it the TDCS (top dead center sensor) if this sensor goes bad it won't want to start either. I would also check all ground cables and connections not just the ones on the battery.
I manually adjusted my rear brakes last night and WOW what a diff. it made. I can almost stop in half the distance of before, my clunking noise went away and I think that the front brakes will get a little relief now that I am stopping with all 4 wheels instead of 2. Thanks guys for all the...
