I am moving in a few months and want to get an idea for the value of my Jeep. Would appreciate any input from you all.
All in all it is in great shape inside and out. I have wheeled it a bit but mainly bought it for camping in the back country so never fully tested it out. The jeep...
Looking to make my rig legal and I need wider fender flares than the stock ones.
Anyone have a set available?
Rustys flexible fenders would be great.
Hey all, I am coming to lake tahoe for the week of the 27th to 31st for work! Yes, I actually get to go to a training class in the tahoe area!
I will be camping all week and will have some time in the evenings and the weekends before and after the trip to do some wheeling and I would like...
I am getting a faint clicking noise which seams to be in sequence with a revolotion of the tire. Only hear it going slow and it goes away if I touch the brake pedal...
Anyone have experience with this?
So, I bought my jeep a year and a half ago an since my subaru sits, though I take it for a drive once a month to keep it from degrading...
On the 3rd, I took it for a drive and parked it on the street. Came home and it was towed! The reg is expired by over 6 months...
Now reregistering cost...
I bought another set of ATR's to try them out and I am liking them...
These are 305/70 r16, Class D, Goodyear MTR (Maximum Traction Radial). They are designed for rock crawling, not for mud. Note again MT is Maximum Traction not Mud Terrain...
The tires are 25-40%, still plenty tread to do...
My lift is in great condition, just thinking about lowering the rig a bit and a softer streat ride... not getting to the trail as often as I would like...
Thanks.
SO I have a few questions on noises... I have lot of noises...
First is a "tunk" noise which is coming from my rear leaf or shackle. I can replicate the noise by pushing on the roof of the drivers side, I get a small tunk, then if I jump on my rock rail, I get the full tunk... It seams like...
This is not just a rant, I am looking for solutions please.
My XJ squeeks and creeks sometimes... more than likely if I have a girl in it (I dont date huge girls often so that is not the problem!) and I am no longer tolerant of the sound and want to make it go away.
The leafs have a good...
I have read through a number of threads discussing the subject and it seams that boring the TB to 62mm is the way to go for any 4.0.
Someone also mentioned that because of the 99+ Manifold, the TB spacer is a good mod.
Can anyone with a 99+ manifold confirm or deny this? Anyone Dyno it...
So went wheeling with a group yesterday led by Cruiserhead, Terry, who told me about a trick to lock your front by merely pulling up the emergency brake one click. Supposedly, with a limited slip dif, this fools the computer into locking the front.
I tried it up a challenging section and went...
I snuck in and out for a fun run on Saturday so I didnt get to meet to many people... Great to meet those I did meet and thank you to all who put the event together.
My Pics are up on a new site called Dirt Club, you need a login, but its free and they dont need a bunch of information from...
I am new and dont know any trails up there... I will be following someone on a fun adventure...
Who is leading a group on a muddy trail? If its gonna be raining, I want to play in the mud!
33" MTR; 4.5" lift, rear locker, tow strap but NO WINCH!
I am looking for a jeep salvage yard or pick a part style salvage yard with 97+ XJ near OC. I need a rear hatch lock and other stuff...
Any reccomendations?
Before I buy the JCR Rock Rails, thought I would see if anyone has a set in thier garage or if there is a local fabricator who does nice work with an equal or better product.
Hit me up if so, or I will order new... if I have to...
I am in the market for Rock Rails, I would like extended ones, though not much cash. I would make them myself if I had the tools and space but I dont.
AJ's? A local fabricator? Suggestions?
