    Off road Bumper

I have a Nate's bumper on my XJ and I did have to wait a little while for it but it is well worth the wait. He was very easy to work with, I even made changes to my bumper after I sent in the order. Quality welds, and all the holes line up perfect. I have used it many time to pull out stuck...

I have some questions about a different take on a rear tire carrier.

Can't lose the rear seat because that is where my son sits while we are out wheeling. Don't want it on the roof. I don't see that it will be that much worse then trying to get in the back with the camper hooked up. And I can always grab stuff from the inside as well.

I have some questions about a different take on a rear tire carrier.

A fellow club member reminded me of something that I had seen a couple of years ago that would help solve the rear view problem: Wireless Back Up Camera

I have some questions about a different take on a rear tire carrier.

Yeah it was looking at his and another guy from up north that built one for his Wrangler that gave me the idea. I am thinking of starting from a Basic JCR Offroad bumper.

    Rusty's Flexy Flares anyone???

Mine are the flex flares. Here's the side with a 33x12.5x15 Tire on a rim with 3.75 Backspacing. Here is a close up of the front: Mine are now bolted on to the Jeep in the front and screwed on in the rear.

    Rusty's Flexy Flares anyone???

Here is how much it opened up my front fender wells: I have hit trees hard with them and I did pull a couple of the rivets through but you just drill another hole and put in another rivet and you are ready to go. They even flex down to about -40 degrees. One tip if you get them, don't try...

I have some questions about a different take on a rear tire carrier.

Most of the swing out tire carriers out there cover most of the rear window. I lost my rear view mirror years ago so I never look out the back anyway. I also spent 5 years as an EMT/Fireman so I have learned to use my side mirrors to back up. That hasn't stopped me from breaking 2 sets of...

Sorry to bring back an old thread but do you still have this tire carrier? If you do, do you still like it? If you got rid of it why?

I have some questions about a different take on a rear tire carrier.

Hey what do you know. I did a search and found what I was looking for. I guess I should have done that first. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=911246&highlight=swing+tire+carrier

I have some questions about a different take on a rear tire carrier.

Do you guys think it would be possible to build something like this for a Cherokee? I know the "arms" of the carrier would need to go around to the sides of the Jeep but I think the could be reinforced on the inside and have a little ramp on the mount to allow trees to slide smoothly over...

    Maxxis Bighorns?

I have had mine on for about 2 years and I love them. I have put on about 10,000 miles and there is hardly any wear. This winter I am switching to airsoft pellets to balance them out. There is a little hum on the highway but they aren't that bad, these are the only "mud" tires I have ever...

Do door Handles from pre 96 fit on 97+

Will the door handles from a pre 96 XJ fit onto the doors of a 97+ XJ and still work? I broke the button out of the handle on the passengers side and I would like to get a replacement but the u-pull lot near me only has pre 96 XJ's and I don't want to pay $20 for a new one.

    long arm upgrade

Where the arm mounts to the upper mount on the axle there is a cam adjustment. No one I know that has the kit has had any problems with Castor. If you don't like the kit don't buy it. If you haven't bought it or seen it in action don't tell people it is crap. There are 2 guys in my club that...

I have wheeled with several guys that have the Iron Rock Long Arm upgrade, including the Iron Rock Off-road guys. In fact I was their trail guide a couple of weeks ago. They are a quality product, flex like a chinese hooker, and they are BEEFY. These guys aren't timid with their products they...
