i dont have part time 4wd with my jeep. its just 2wd 4hi and 4lo
and i know what it feels like on pavement when the 4wd is engaged and its more jerky than what im talking about.
is that possible? to be halfway stuck in 4wd? becuase on pavement when i turn and then let go my steering wheel does multiple jerks back into its straight position.
haha, thats exactly what my dad said.
i probly wont be able to afford the swap this summer but definately in the near future.
i want to try and prove him wrong.

thats what i was thinking, taking the srt8 out of a totalled grand cherokee.
would the transmission for the 5.7 match the 6.1? becuase then you could take the transmission out of a 5.7 grand cherokee and still have the 6.1 with 4wd
heres one of the engines on sale on ebay

anyone think the swap is possible?
the engine is out of a 2006 charger
would the transmission that comes with the engine fit? work?
would it be possible to switch from automatic to manual too?
i want to know to see if i have to work my ass off all summer to aford it in the...
well i had to get my front axle replaced and its under warranty so im going to take it in and get it all straight but i think ill do it myself next time, that write up is great.
i have no idea when the bearings were checked last
every stinkin time i go even light off roading, my alignment goes to hell and i have to pay to get it fixed so my tires dont wear funny. i was wondering if there was a way to strengthen it so it would be harder if not imposible to take out of alignment.
i can do it, im not saying i dont have the skills when i say "stuff", im talkin about materials, and im kind of on a budget ever since my account got down to $17 5 days before payday
Re: Not enough room for a winch!!!
i think ill mount it behind the bumper like this one guy did and cut a hole in the middle of the bumper for the cable and have a remote switch in the cab. i dont really have the stuff to fab a new bumper.
