    90 XJ only runs with starter cranking

    heres my problem, the red wire for the oxygen sensor shorted against my new header. it wouldnt run untill i unshorted the the oxygen sensor. now it only will run with the ignition in the crank position. once it starts and i let the ignition return to the run position, the engine dies instantly...

    spool rear, lockright front oh wait, thats cause i'm a cheap @ss selectable lockers front and rear would be sweet, ARB, OX, or E-Locker. i havnt run any of the above, so i cant say. but almost all my friends that run them have had little problems at one time or another, leaks, solenoids, ect...

    i'm afraid you're right, even though i've never broken the STOCK output shaft and driveline, at 8" on 36s, i am starting to break things i wasnt planning on breaking, like dana 44 rear shafts. so, where is the HD SYE and DS cheapest? i think high angle has a pretty good price at $489...

    "rubbin's racin' " sorry, cheezy movie line, i ran 31s on a 3" with no problem, wheeled great. i miss those days, when 31" All-Terrains and open diffs went everywhere.

    First the Tires: 4 - 36x12.50x15 Swamper TSL/SXs front two are pretty decent, rear two just hit the bars that connect the lugs. no plugs. $225 obo 4 - 35x12.50x15 BFG AT/KOs, about 40% tread very even wear. $100 obo 4 - 35x12.50x15 BFG MTs Bald, hold air $50 obo And the Wheels 4 - 15" Aluminum...

    CUxj88... could you give some details on that paintjob, it looks great to me. what kind of prep did you do? what kind of paint? did you spray it out of a can or a gun? did you do anything to it after you sprayed it? wet sand, clear coat, buff, wax, ect? thanks, Jeff

    i'm thinking about building a new cherokee, the problem is that 91+ two door 4.0L autos are hard to come buy, i was curious how well a 5 speed would crawl. the specs would be... 4.0L HO AX-15 (at least i think that would be the tranny in a 91-95ish 4.0L) NP231 D30/D44 with 4.88s and lockers 35"...

    dino, thanks for the info, your webpage is invaluable, i have a few questions the mopar computer - IIRC that requires running 91 octane... now that i think about it that would be do-able would i be abneed to pass smog in California, so i need to run the renix borla header. do you le to swap on...
