Sorry to bring back an old thread but I was wondering if you finished this design. I would like to see some photos of it. I am going to be starting mine either this weekend or next weekend.
Any updates on this? I read through the whole build and was disappointed there wasn't a conclusion to the build. How does it work? What would you do differently if you could do it over again?:dunno:
It isn't that simple on my xj. I have a factory auxiliary cooler and my lines are either threaded fittings or quick connect fittings at all locations. Do you have photos or a better explanation of how you did your auxiliary cooler and what you did with the factory cooler lines to make them work?
Thank you very much. That will save me a lot of money. Now I can buy some tube to protect the front end better. My wife says I should just work on not crashing my Jeep......What do wives know anyway?!
Did you have any of these problems before you ran this setup? I lost my radiator in an accident yesterday and I need a new one. I was looking at this setup but I don't want to spend $450.00 and end up with overheating problems. I have a new engine that is pretty tight and runs a little hot as it...
quote=Unearthed;244185756]I'm having a hard time trying to get to their site (blue torch fab), no links are working and the link from google is a no workie.
How much was the price of this kit compared to the RuffStuff one?
I paid $79.99 for mine. I can't get on their page right now either. It...
I bought the blue torch fab kit and welded it myself. I did the shell inside and out and then welded the shell to the ring. When I welded the shell to the ring I alternated sides and let cool between welds to prevent warping. Mine turned out great and does not leak.
Good call. I just read the other thread. Hey NXJ, if you give me your location and jurisdiction I can see if I have a contact with the International Auto Theft Investigator's Association that can assist you. They are a great resource in identifying the true owner of stolen vehicles. That is what...
I agree with you on this. I PMed him to find out why he needed the info but I have not heard back. I don't think he has any ill intentions, but there may be people that locate this thread that do have ill intentions. The way I see it is by publishing this info it only does all of us XJ owners a...
Exactly my point. If you are trying to identify the owner of a stolen vehicle the police are involved...Right? If the Police are involved they have access to NICB reps that can tell them exactly where the numbers and try to help ID the legit owner by other means as well. If the police are not...
I could send a PM. I'm not trying to be an @$$, but it is just not information that needs to be common knowledge. I live in AZ where auto theft is a huge problem and it is already difficult enough to ID vehicles with good VIN switches. Sometimes the C Vins are your only hope. This info in the...
Sure. Any Law Enforcement Officer has access to NICB and they know all of the locations. Posting the locations on a public forum is just plain a bad idea....That is why they call them CONFIDENTIAL VINs!
