Front driver's side started locking and smoking. Replaced both calipers, rotors, all the pads, and drivers side rubber brake hose. Still gets so hot it smokes. Only does this to the front drivers side, I'm completly baffled!! Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have an '89 limited with a 4.0. The electric fan works when wired straight to the battery but it won't kick on at temp. The relay is good and I'm sure there is a switch somewhere. I just can't find it! Probably a stupid ??? but I'm sort of new to the XJ scene. Any help would be appreciated.
