sounds to me like it was never really wheeled from the list of upgrades he has on it probably just a mall crawler. so if all you want is a dd that looks cool go for it. but i cant really tell because the pic didnt work so i could be wrong, just my guess probably shouldnt be in the modified...

i'v got the tnt truss and its not a big deal to cut off the cast stock upper arm mount just used an angle grinder. and the steering stabilizer i was going to put back on but have been driving witout it for about 2 months dont really notice a difference now that is gone

just another thing to try on mine the drive shaft i bought offline was built wrong and the ears wernt inline so it made it vibrate. so i straitened it and had alocal shop balance it solved the problem for me
