Tranny pan is 4.4*, Diff is 9. Driveshaft angle is 13*.

Thanks everyone. My mechanic says he can't get my 6* shims in to point the pinion down. That seem odd to anyone?

Well, I measured on the Diff cover and the Tranny like you guys said and here's what we got: Joint out of back of transfer case: 4* Pinion: 9*

Yeah, I hear that a lot. I think I may try the shims first because its cheapest and simplest of fixes that does not mess with the t-case. :yelclap:

I never measured distance from ground to top of wheel well before the lift. I did it just now and it comes out 33" and 1/4 in the front, 32" and 1/4 in the back. When I put my lift in we kept the orginial spacers that sit on top of the springs in the front, just putting 2" BB block below it...

I'm a newbie to posting so I'll take flaming as a form of hazing. :laugh: Money is tight right now... so I think the T/C drop and/or shims is where I'll start. :spin1:

I'm doing a lot of road driving for work. The tires I have now measure at 28" and want to replace them with 30" but no bigger than that. The off-roading I do are easy trails that don't require much for modifications --on a scale of 1 to 10 these rides are no harder than a 4.

I'm putting a 2"BB on my '00 XJ Limitied Edition next month and educating myself what size tires I need to get. Its mostly an on-road vehicle so I don't need mud tires and my rims are 16x8 alumimum --bit bigger than the normal 15" steelies. My stock tires are 225/70R16 but I want to get a little...
