In my 99 my 5 1/4 didn't line up either. They were also a little too deep and the window hit the back of the magnet when going down. I used 3 washers on each screw to help pull them forward.So you may have to watch for that as well.

Could also be a loose or corroded conection behind the dash/odometer panel. They tend to have a problem and cause the dash to go dead, but I've never seen it shut the car down.

If it's not too deep you could try a dab of crazy glue on the end of the key you have reinsert it wait 30-40 seconds and try to pull it out. The Key here is a very small dab so the glue doesn't spread out and stick to the cylinder. I've tried it in deadbolt cylinders with some susscess.

I'm running some hella ff50's they mount easy in the stock location and provided lots of light when my factory fog switch worked. Now I'm looking for a new fog switch because the dealers in canada are outrageous and want almost $90 just for the switch.

I scrapped mine off as best i could with a paint scrapper and then used some carb cleaner as thats all i had around. It seemed to work pretty well. What was left rubbed off easily by hand.

I'm using the ipf harness upgrade and it does provide a fairly signifigant improvement. I also did the h4 after and that helped aswell.In my opinion the extra light is well worth the money.

When i got mine i had them torch off the bolts. Your going to use new bolts anyway most likely, so cutting or a torch will be the fastest way.

I use one and noticed a 2-3 mpg difference, but i also did my exhaust at the same time. So it's hard to say where it came from. Even without an mpg increase its worth the investment.

Look for a switch that is magneticly activated and you can put it anywhere behind the dash. Simply keep a small magnet on your keycain and pass it over the area where you hid the switch. I use the fuel pump. Truck will start and drive away about 1-2 blocks and dies with no fuel.

If your leaves are almost flat then the add a leaf is not your answer. It doesn;t have the strength to support what 3-4 leaves once did. It will wear out much faster. You'll need to get a new set of leaves or put together a bastard pack. (you can find this reference on site).

I'm running the Hella ecodes with IPF super low beams with the ugraded wire harness. They work great, and are resonably priced.

So with no sentry key there shouldn;t be a problem just changing the cylinder. That should bring the price down. You'd still probably need the plastic shroud around the column which you could get at a wreckers pretty cheap i'd suspect. Hope things work out for you.

If it's already out and your having trouble try a local machine shop can see that they would charge much just for that.
