I have had an occasional misfire in my jeep for about 6 months now. i just replaced the head (0331 crack :firedevil) and i had always assumed the misfire was because of the coolant in the cylinders. However it just did it again to me. Normally when it misfires i can shut it off and it will start...

I found a great deal on some sweet axles. This guy rolled his XJ and is selling it as is... however it has a rear 44 w/chromoly shafts, arb, 4.56, disc brakes. front is HP 30 arb,4.56. jeep also has RE 5.5 lift, teraflex 4:1, sye, etc etc... my question is how concerned would you be with the...

is there any markings on the housing, or is the only difference in the axle shafts themselves?

So today I am going to look at a 2001 Sport. It is completely stock, and has 105k on the clock. Just wondering what I need to be looking for or aware of on such a high milage jeep?

So, im trying to figure out what to do next... Right now my XJ has a saggy old lift, bushwackers, 33x10.5 ATs. My goal is to stick with 33s, cause i dont wanna stress my stock axles too much more. Heres the question: Do i do a 5.5" lift with some drop brackets, or are they that necessary? Or...
