I just swapped in a 231 from a 2002 Liberty into my 1996 XJ. The only difference is the electrical connections aren't the same. The one that tells you you're in 4wd, I don't care about but the rear should I? The Liberty case has no provisions for any plug of any kind.

I've searched and found nothing. I've tried every combination of words I could think of.
Since I just took out my condensor(it was toast) and the air hasn't worked since I owned it, I thought I should convert my AC to on board air! So how the hell do I do it and how can I do it cheap? Thanks!

Axle swaps done in under, well 20+ hours and counting, but come to my neighborhood and be entertained! And slightly saddened. Yes their racing tractors.

I'm famous. No, really. Actually I wrote an article on how it doesn't take a lot of money to build a fun truck. Once we swap in the new 8 and 1/4 rear axle I'll have $1700 in the whole thing and that includes the purchase price. Anyways it looks a lot different then the pics but oh well...

Less than $8 at Menards. Trimmed 'em and bolted them in. Not perfect but neither am I. I love cutting up my truck. And now my truck will run cooler! Of course maybe I should get my temp gauge fixed.
