What have you done to lighten your XJ...

Just wondering what people have done to lighten their XJ while still keeping the roof on it. Was the end result worth it, ie. would you do it again if you had to do it over? Notice any differences? And last, what was your reason for trying to make it lighter? I have been thinking back and forth...

Did Country Ed. have any suspension changes?

Just wondering, I have heard the Country Edition XJ's had a 2" lift factory. I got a set of front coils from one (1995 XJ Country), and they look just like the ones on my '89 Pioneer. Any help?

Ok going to try this oil pan 1 more time....

Ok so my last oil pan adventure didn't go so well. This time I am going to pick up a 1 piece gasket set instead of the 4 piece and try that. So... to make it easier this time around, whats the easiest way to get the pan out from under the truck? Last time, I dropped the shocks, and swaybar links...

Help, can't get the oil pan off!

Ok I have a 4.0, and we can't get the oil pan off. All the bolts are off, none were hard to remove. We tried to smack the side of it with a piece of 2x4 and a hammer, didn't touch it. Also tried to slide a screwdriver under the lip at one corner, and it just started to bend it. What else can we...
