    Knocking noises from the tranny area

    It was the exhaust hitting the crossmember. As a temporary solution I wedged a hockey puck between the crossmember and the exhaust pipe coming of the manifold. Thats just a temporary fix. I ended up replacing the entire exhaust system from the manifold back to the cat. Good luck!

    left side driving lights dont work

    Was that in your rear bumper or front bumper that you found your short? I have the EXACT same problem to a T. I also happen to have both front and rear damage on the left (driver side) only.

    I feel like an idiot. I replaced a 15 amp fuse problem solved. Or so I thought. They pretty much blew the fuse as quickly as I replaced it?? A short somewhere I suppose, I hate them damn electrical gremlins.

    The filaments look intact on both the original and the replacement. Still not coming on when pulling the headlight switch. The brake does come on though.

    I would do a tune up. Replace cap, rotor, wires and distributor possibly even replace your TPS. Other than that Ive got nothing for ya. I still havent got my issue stated above resolved. Im bummed, im currently looking for a new XJ

    Clutch problem

    I had the same problem, my clutch master/slave cylinders were shot. I would replace the clutch master/slave cylinder. Piece of cake. Took me 45 minutes. It comes in one sealed unit, $160 i believe.

    Ive been looking all evening (4hrs) Ive seen alot of things pointing to coolant temp sensor, or mabey even the fuel pump. I havent tested the pressure at the rail. I'll check in later to see if anyone else adds anything. I reall appreciate the help.
