    Fuel Cells and Pumps

I run the 22 gallon alum cell from summit, bought an EFI external pump from a TPI shop local paid $200 for it. Funny you mentioned the foam, never thought about changing it, I have had it for about a year and now every so often my truck acts like it has a clogged filter and the pump runs real...

    Thinking....How to install RE6130?

I built special body stands for mine, they went under the front frame and on the rear bumper mounts they stood about 4' tall and when I put my axles on I had to lift it higher to get my tires on. Then again I am running 40" tires, trust me, I sadi 12 ton stands because I do not like to be under...

    Thinking....How to install RE6130?

OK, THe 4.5 does have big springs, here is the best way, go buy the 12 ton jackstands, I think they extend to like 36", put a floor jack under the pumpkin, raise the vehicle up and place the jack stands under the frame as close to the leaf hangers as possiable, getting the jack stands as high as...

    Rear ford 9"

To answer your second question, yes you can change it to a big bearing housing, just buy the flanges(about $75 for the pair) take to a shop that does this type of work and pay them to weld them on straight, or you could do it yourself, it will be cheaper to buy a new housing, they go for about...

    Hydro-assist for $75

ashman, I did not mount the ram to the frame, it is mounted to the axle and to the tie-rod, I did not blow a gearbox, I snapped one of the bolts on my track bar mount, and the other one worked it way loose.

    4 link rear suspension

Twisted, I have some excel documents, that will help you figure out angles and stress loads of the arms at differant angles, The three link wishbone, is not really that much more differant then a four link, if done correclty, shoot me an email offline to [email protected] to remind me to send...

    Hydro-assist for $75

It's not so the ram bigger then the box, its the box pulling the ram futher then it's stroke, which can be fixed by setting it up correctly, in the first place. I think that this thread is not really about the parts breaking its that when you start buying geto fab parts to make a system work is...

    4 link rear suspension

the geometry is fine as long as you understand the amount of stress that is put on each link and stay with in the specs of the hardware you are using. The measurements will be differant then mine depending on how you set it up, just remeber the longer the links the less angle, the more rear steer.

How big is too big for a Daily driver?

I run IROK's 39.5, and have no idea how much lift, if you measure stock to now its about 12-14" higher. not sure if you will get 37's with out trimming or bumpstopping, I do not belive in bumpstopping just to get bigger tires. I run a 97 sport 4door. I cut hte rear fender wells out and added 12"...

    Hydro-assist for $75

Just to add to this, I have the AGR ram assist and, I run 40's my gearbox is mounted on a reinforced frame area, so all the stress now is transfered to the weakest point my track bar mount. I just returned from a pretty hard run and I popped one of the bolts for the mount and blew the threads of...

    4 link rear suspension

I built a subframe then tied the suspension to it, with a 4 link rear, you will have to figure out the stress the links will have at the angle you decide to go with, also the more angle or distance between the upper arms will give you less rear steer, you will also need to learn about the...
