Thanks man, yeah they're a factory XJ wheel, and I think they're called Silverstars.
Well I didn't make my 24 hour goal. This is where I left off today.
Now I'll have to hear my wife complain about driving the LJ. Hopefully it gets done in the next two days.
Well in the last few months I was transferred to Boise Idaho for work. Love this place so far.
But the Brendamobile has needed some love for a while and a few trips between Woodland Washington and Boise haven't helped any. So I ordered some parts and it's time to get to work.
Right about...
I'm running Duratracs on a stock 01 and love them in the snow and dirt but they are a little noisy in my opinion. The BFG AT would be my recommendation.
I think you'll be happier with deeper gears. I've run a ton of different setups and driven even more, and if I were going to run an ax-15 and 31" tires I'd run 4:10s in the axles. Which can be found in the junkyard if you keep an eye out.
The Brendamobile got some new wheels and tires today.
Silverstars and 225/75R16 Duratracs.
Since this really is a mall crawler, I picked up these badges from JCR for it.
I run 30x9.50s on a 2000 XJ with no lift and no trimming done. Running factory "turbines" and only rubbing on the inner fender liner at full lock which is almost never. It is strictly a driver and not a wheeler though.
My catalytic converters on my 06 LJ were clogged causing a loss of power. Thinking it may be covered under federal emissions warranty, I brought it in to McCord Dodge Jeep. They said the part was covered, but because I have an aftermarket crossmember, labor isn't covered and will run me $350 or...
Found this gem looking for a specific MJ build.
I want to see this thing in action so bad. I wish I could convince one of my friends to buy one and slap it on. You know it's going to make crazy power because the same part adds horsepower to Lambos and Kenworths. You'll want to make sure and...
Sell your WJ stuff an buy the Currie steering. By far the best setup I've ever ran, and like has been said before, if you did manage to break it odds are someone would have a stock setup for you.
Put in the headliner I've had lying around for a few months.
I also gave it a $5 face lift. New plastics from the Gresham Boys and some plastidip and paint. Bumper paint is still wet, it's not that bright in real life.
I also washed it so I could get ready to sell it. I've got too many...
Got my Autopals and Hella 55/100w bulbs in. Amazon $60 shipped.

After:
No performance test yet, but I will say that I was very impressed with the quality of the Autopal housings especially considering their price point. I can't wait to see how the lights perform now with the...
Got my rockauto shipment in today. New shocks, hatch struts, and swaybar bushings. $190 shipped
I did a lot of research on which shocks to get for an OE or better ride at stock height. I ended up going with KYB Gas-a-just shocks all the way around.
I ran the part numbers on these shocks, 2...
