    WTF? Bad metal, factory flaw in the floors???

    This problem travelled across the Atlantic also, most pre facelift XJ's suffer seriouse corrosion on the floor pans. You can find first class low milage trucks that are scrap because of rot. When I replaced my fuel tank a few months ago the boot floor above was bear metal, no wonder they rot.

    Ok so far, no sticker in glovebox other than tyre (tire) pressures. Did jack test last Sunday but whilst changing wheel, left one wheel on ground and expected to feel resistance on free wheel with transmission in neutral and hand brake off, maybe thats not the rite way huh. Will try your way...

    Help needed in the UK. According to uk info all cherokee's pre 96 had the trac-loc lsd fitted, if this is tru then mine is shot as there is no friction between wheels, is this easy to repair or is it a dealer repair only. Please advise. Cheers.
