    Free parts

Hey, I've got a few parts that I didnt have the chance to install on my XJ before it disappeared to the winds, and I need to clear out a little space. So, my loss is your gain. Here's what I have: 2 front shocks. Stock size, KYB, still in box All AW4 cooler hardlines. Supply and return hard...

What did you do to your XJ today

Yeah, of course. The G2 site has a bunch of different length, so i just found the ones that matched as closely to what I needed, then searched for that part number. I got em from 4WheelParts cause I used to have a location like half a mile from my house, so it was easier to pick them up than...

What did you do to your XJ today

What year is your rig? I think the early and late models needed different cables. I used two of these G2 cable, and it was a perfect fit for me. I was able to use the same cable on both sides with no issue, but IIRC, the late models need a different length for the passenger side. The cables I...

What did you do to your XJ today

Greenz, I just had to dig through all my invoices for my insurance company, so I have a bunch of part numbers for what I used on my 8.25 disc swap. Hit me up if any of that could be helpful to you

    Stolen Jeep

Thanks Greenz. Yeah, I'm looking at CL and Facebook for parts or anything that looks like it shouldn't be there. Not holding out much hope, to be honest. The responding officer said it was the third 94 XJ he's seen stolen this week, so be extra aware of your own Jeeps...

    Is the NWC dead?

Well, unless things go way better than they have any right to, I'm probably out for next month. My Jeep got stolen last night and I don't have much faith that it'll be in anything like the condition it was in if/when I get it back

    Stolen Jeep

Hey all, Keep an eye open around Portland Metro area, if you can. My Jeep was stolen from outside my apartment in inner SE Portland overnight. 1994 2 door, dark blue, 4.0, AW4, NP231J. Has TJ Moabs with 245/75/R16 Cooper AT3s, Dirtbound Offroad winch bumper, Smittybilt 9500lb winch, CB antenna...

    Is the NWC dead?

That would be fun. A recent move into an apartment has left me with minimal opportunities for driveway beer drinking and wrench turning.

    Is the NWC dead?

Torx, any info on the TSF trip you mentioned next month? I don't know any of the local members, but would enjoy coming out for some trail riding if it's suitable for a lightly built rig

Nice, that's a great looking MJ!

    replacing seals around window...

I just replaced mine and got the seals on teamcherokee.com. Good fitment, nice and flexible too, definitely better than the 25 year old torn ones I had. I was replacing window glass at the same time, so I had the entire window and wing window assembly out, it was a very simple exercise at that...

What did you do to your XJ today

Realized I've got a super aggressive oil leak that I'm not looking forward to tracking down and fixing...My first guess is the oil filter adapter finally let go, but fixing that in at apartment parking won't be fun no matter what it is.

    New tires

I've been happy with my Discoverer AT3s. Quiet on the road and good for trips to the snow on Mt Hood on the weekends. Never run the Duratracs, so I can't compare, but I've been pleased with the AT3s. I do have the 4S compound, which is supposed to be better for snow and ice, so that's something...

    C8.25 disc swap ?s

I used ZJ softlines to the factory hardlines, looks really similar to ehall's pic. Eventually I want to put stainless braided lines and custom length hardlines in, but this was cheap and works well enough for now. I was already over budget at that point, but the ZJ line and factory hardline has...

    C8.25 disc swap ?s

I have the G2 parking brake cables on my disc swap (94 2 door, 2000 8.25 with KJ discs), and they were a perfect swap in. I can't remember the length I got, but I was able to find ones that were within a couple inches of my factory cable length. Installed and adjusted like 6-7k miles ago and...

    New 1991 XJ Mild Build

That looks great man, I flipped through your build thread some. You said PNW, but bio says Texas. Are you moving up this way? Lots and lots of great places to explore around here, pretty much anywhere you go. On my last XJ with the 5 speed, I'd pretty much always lose 5th and sometimes 4th on...

    New 1991 XJ Mild Build

Welcome to the forum! Your goal sounds very similar to mine, I drive 40 minutes to work every day, but like to get out and explore on the weekends. I'm sitting on 2 inches and 265/75R16s (measured at a hair under 31in) with clearance and no rub anywhere. I am running TJ Moabs, which I think...

How to remove dome lights, 1990XJ roof console

The frosted plastic cover just pops free. A little pressure on the back edge and it should come loose. If you have map lights built in, you should be able to get at those once the cover is out of the way, at least that's how mine is

    Tire question

235s won't have any fitment issues on steel wheels, I (and countless others) have run those on several XJs over the years. Shouldn't be any rub on any parts of the body either, I've always had plenty of room

92 Laredo Silver Fender Flares, Body Trim OEM Colors?

One place I'd look is to try and find store that mixes auto paint in house. I have had good luck with one in my area being able to look up codes for almost anything, and can custom blend and match anything that isn't in the book. I don't have a good online source for paint codes, unfortunately.
