Mine did the exact same thing about 3 months ago. After fighting with it for a week or two it finally ended up being a hole in the radiator. I was never able to see it because it was so small that coolant just evaporated as soon as it came out.
My 99 does the same thing and I have no idea why. The rear brakes only have about 6k on them and it did it before the new brakes for a little while. Prior to 10k ago it did not do this though. I kind dont think its parts on wrong but thats no guarantee.
Toyota does make very nice machines but why do you have such a Jeep bashing vibe with this thread? The Toyotas do have nice qualities and I am a fan of many of them but this is a place for XJ enthusiasts and owners and I am sure many of the others on :NAXJA: do not appreciate the message it...
I dont know what brand it was but jmowens put one on his 98 and said it was a big pain. You may want to try to pm him about it. I know he said his required quite a bit of drilling.
I always like to take a peice of pipe that just fits around the rachet handle or a breaker bar for leverage. It helps for those stuborn nuts and bolts.
I have never heard anything bad about the brand. One big question you need to ask yourself is how much are you going to be using the winch. I you are using it everyday then I would get a big name but if you are just going to be be using it every once in awhile on the trail then it will probably...
If I were in your position I would probably go ahead and put them in so you can have it in the morning and then go back and tap it out and put better stuff in later. I really dont think it would hurt it short term. It may not hurt it on the longrun either but I dont know.
Pretty much no where. I am still looking down there but havent had much luck. Pretty bad transition from living my whole life surrounded by cotton fields to living in the middle og Mobile.
Black Cherokee Classic, 3", still running little tires, black prerunner bumper with two lights, Lots of stickers on back window, and CB antenna. What does yours look like? For some reason I think I might have seen you too.
