It seems that my battery is bad so I replaced it.I'm wondering what caused the overcharge and if it killed my battery.I found some good suggestions on this site that needs to be checked this weekend.
I drove around in mostly rural areas this weekend.My mileage averaged 21.3.I am thinking about putting a Banks exhaust system on to pick up a little power.
This was my last step.I installed a set of manual locking hubs.So far I have done plugs,coil packs 02 sensor,Injectors pressure cleaned and the hubs.
2000 Cherokee with 265/75/16 2" lift 24 mpg hwy 21.5 average.
I drove 325.5 miles on 15.1 gallons of unleaded regular.This is the best I have done so far.By the way GPS said I had traveled 327.41.I don't know which is right but both are over 21.5 mpg.

I just had my injectors cleaned and reset my ecm.It seems that at this point with 125 on this tank I am getting back on track.I use it to run the same route every time that I drive it.It is pretty easy to keep up with fuel economy.To all you nay sayers if I take all my tools out of the XJ I can...
I have a 2000 XJ and my mileage has dropped about 5 mpg.Does anyone have any suggestions.I just recently changed plugs,wires,coil pack,air filter.I was getting close to 20 mpg and now it is around 15 mpg.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
