I'm looking for some ignition parts for my son's XJ... We need the switch & rod section just like in the picture...
This is for a '99 so if you're parting out or know a decent salvage yard (all near me have been zero help) I'd appreciate it! Or if you know part numbers for the rod section...

heading out late tomorrow morning & meeting my dad at the jolly truck stop about 1:30-2pm... we're hauling his TJ & my XJ... we're either going across southern Colorado or taking 40 to gallup or on into AZ then turning north... AZ route should prove flatter for ease of towing... gonna let him...
gotta small hole/leak in a tire... it's a bad spot, not sure if i want to or should plug it... take a look, i marked where the hole is... (it's actually on the inside but same as area as shown)
won't have a new tire for a coupla days... those 33X10's aren't too common...
just put new tires on so i have 4 BFG AT's that would make decent spares...
tread just gets over lincoln's head with the penny test...
if you're in the n.tx area (denton/dfw/sher/den) they (1 or all) are yours...

ok... trying to get a diagnosis... searching has added worn shocks to this list, upper and/or lower control arm bushings worn, worn tie-rod ends...
here's what's happening... backing up at slow speeds (say out of a parking space) then applying the brakes causes the front axle to twist bottom...

just curious how many of our RRC members are planning to attend? i saw where BigDaddy is... i've been going since '03 (skipped this year) and it's a blast... frankly the wheeling there is so good i don't like to wheel anywhere else...
anyone get the new 4wd hardware catalog? see the flares on the cover cherokee? front & rear flat fender/tube looking things... sorry, i looked for net pics so this thread wouldn't be worthless but no luck...
who makes these things? i've tried the usual suspects but can't find them...

ok guys... ended up cracking and finally breaking the ccv fitting during a valve cover gasket fix... got it rigged with some hose but it's not great, leaking...
here's the question, would/could this cause anything horrible to go wrong before i can get a replacement? it's definitely running a...
i've googled & searched here but i cannot for the life of me find those fiberglass front fenders with the extended baja-like fenders... i'm hoping someone has it bookmarked or kinows where the thread is that mentioned the website...
