Looking for a spare tire carrier/rear bumper. I know it's rare to find one for sale but if you have one and are willing to pay with, let me know. :paperwork
Hey all, Im transferring from CU in Colorado to the U of I in the fall. I wanted to make myself known and show off some pics from Colorado. Im also wondering if there is any members in the Iowa City, Ceder Rapids, Mt. Pleasant area that like to get together and wheel?
And if nobody minds...
I decided 4 wheeling would be a good way to celebrate the end of another semester.
So me and a couple buddys went to Castle Gulch which is just a hair past Left Hand and Carnage.
If you follow the right trails it will take you down and through Carnage Canyon.
Enjoy.
issues, is this possible? I run 33's and I like being able to look out my back window. I have stored the spare in the back in the past (behind the seats) but I would like my cargo area back, I mean that is why we have XJs in the first place. Has anyone seen pictures of a non obnoxiously mounted...
Is there a place that sells angle iron in colorado in 5-6 ft lengths?
Looking to weld to the rocker panels like a flush low profile rock slider.:peace:
I was wondering if anyone had some UCAs or LCAs from a 6 inch lift laying around. IF so could tell me the distance between the bolt eyes on the UCAs and LCAs. I picked up Some RE arms from a third party and I was told they would fit a six inch lift And on my setup there is a little bit too much...
Went there last week to get the drive shaft rebuilt on my Audi and the turn around, the quality, and price where very surprising. I highly recommend them. They also do custom drivelines for our rigs.

Weather was cold and it was snowing for 30 - 45 minutes. Not too many people up their but it was fun, here is a photo from fording the lake at the top of coney. Hopefully more are on the way, as I collect photos from friends
I took a quick trip up left hand not even up to guardian rock. Anyway on the way back I get the dreaded death wobble, bad. I got home and the track bar was really loose. I hate that:flamemad: I though I had built my jeep up well enough to bypass death wobble.
So a couple days ago I was asking about a set of wheels that had a 3.25BS. Anyway, I bought the wheels and was wondering where everyone gots their tires mounted and what the cost was of mounting.
I cant seem to find a thread I read a week ago about mounting tires back in the rim after patching them on the trail. I searched all kinds of key words:
tire mounting, tire removal, ect..., does anyone know the thread Im talking about or know any better key words.
Im curious to know what are the laws behind fender flares on the xj's in Colorado? Lets say 33x12x15 with 3.25 BS can I run w/o flares? can I use the original flares? or do I have to get extra wide flares? Tanks guys
