I have a new set i bought a while back, i've taken them out of the box a few times and for pictures recently. But they have never been used, the hardware is still packaged. I paid something like 400, I am asking for 320. I just need them gone, they are too big to be sitting in the living room...

its not covered up, sitting in the drivers seat i can see it perfectly. Im gonna look into different options i can do to change that B hoop, i really do wanna keep the console, ill see if maybe i can run through it. but does anyone have any suggestions for seats as far as the bigger guys being...

ok thanks for the info, i do appreciate it, ill look into it once i go to finish everything up, but im pretty much beat on that subject, now what seats are yall runnin with ur cages? Im a bigger guy at 6'1,280 so those little ass things i see aint gonna cut it! any reccommendations

Im still looking into the design a bit, maybe ill throw some padding around that part, just by chance some part of me hits it. But with a well designed seat and harness, i dont see it being much of a problem. Maybe im wrong, i havent worked with aftermarket seats and all that much

its not over my head at all, and im puting in new seats with harness, dont see how i could hit it. and the display is in perfect sight from where i sit in the drivers seat, so def not useless

still not done, im gonna be adding some bars to make a X pattern in the main hoop tied in with the harness bar, and also some bars connecting the b and c pillar hoops together striaght back. possibly another bar up front across the dash...

ok thanks good info, i got a lot done today but didnt take any pictures, ill get some up tomorrow, Im gonna be puting a X tied in with the harness bar for the B pillar and then having a X above from the B to C pillars. But Im still not sure about the very front by the windshield. Does anyone...

ha oh i know its not better, and yes i like that console very much! Maybe when im further into this you'll get a better picture of how it might turn out, but i agree it is a spot im still lookin at with much concern

yes well i beveled the edges so i could a get a good weld in there, and it wasnt lazyness since cuting and fitting that bar was more time taken then actually pulling the console out. More support will be added to that hoop. I dont see why it wouldnt be safe once complete.

Yea i was thinking of doing a X in that main hoop tied in with my harness bar, giving that part a little more support. As far as the rear, you said the tubes coming down from the c pillar should come back more? are they an a unsafe location? could you give me some reasoning on these please...

guess it depends on who rides in it and how they feel about it, the whole how a XJ rides is kinda dumb to me, they all feel the same when im in one, thats just me
