    allmost over heating

Turn on your A/C and it should come on... if it does not come on then either the fan is bad or the aux. fan relay is bad.

    Name This Part (PICS)...

Crap... so that wouldn't have anything to do with my stalling problem then. There's a big plastic air canister looking thing that is still in my rig that was attached to it... I can take that out now... correct?

    Name This Part (PICS)...

My 97' XJ has been stalling intermitantly since I bought it Jan. of this year. My wife's 98' XJ has this part that is directly connected to the throttle cable mount. Mine is missing. It certainly looks like a required part... could this be my stalling problem?? The mystery part is in the center...

Running out of options and $$$, please help.

I replaced the ASD relay, and MAP sensor with no results. I guess I will try the temp sensor next. I don't think this rig has a cat converter... all I saw was a bulge in the pipe before the exhaust. This is pissing me off.:gonnablow

Running out of options and $$$, please help.

The ASD relay is the only one I have not replaced. What does that do/stand for? I will replace today. I don't have cruise control. I DO have a custom intake tube with cone filter... however, I figure the CPU has had plenty of time get a custom to it.

Running out of options and $$$, please help.

Replaced: Fuel pump & filters, TCS, IAC, CPS, cleaned carbon from throttle body and IAC port, new plugs-cap-rotor-wires. Now what... please don't tell me...

97' XJ Fuel Pump Install...(did search)

Any tips? I will also be installing a new fuel filter. Does the filter have any funky hose connections that need a special tool? I will be doing the pump install myself with weekend mechanic tools. Thanks for any help.

    ghost reving engine please help!!!!!!!

After I installed a new IAC it revved to 3500 rpms for about a full minute... then the computer was able to catch up to the new part and it went back to normal. Have you let it run for more than a minute or so, so that the computer can figure out what it is that you've done?

    Draglink end just spinning...

I have a heavy duty draglink, but it appears the end that attaches to hi-steer knuckle is bad. The bolt itself is loose, and when I went undo the bolt the bolt and nut just kept spinning together. So, how do I get this thing off now... and once I do I should be able to get the entire end at any...

    This is just weird...

I walk out to the Jeep this morning after a thunderstorm last night, and there is a 2in. deep puddle of water on the drivers side floor... what the hell?? It has rained on the rig before... is it possible that the water came in through the cowl and then collected in that one spot under the dash...

    Dana 30 yoke....

I have an upgraded non-strap yoke from my previous 89' YJ. I would like to swap this into my 97' XJs dana 30 while I'm fixing the pinion seal and it will get rid of those rinky-dink straps. Will this 89' YJ yoke work on my 97' XJ?

    Ditched The Sway Bar...

It's a daily driver... I had it up to 60mph with no wobble. The only time I experienced death wobble was when my trackbar bushing desinigrated.

    Ditched The Sway Bar...

After talking with a couple of people who have done the same, fumbling with the d*mn things when I'm off-road, etc.... I finally just took the whole assembly off. I went for about a 30 minute drive at various speeds, various turns, and I had no ill effects. I happy about that, because I really...

    Installing Oil Pump...

No I didn't. That would be just beyond my skill level. Fixing/replacing these would require a near rebuild... correct? Here's the thing... the engine is still running pretty strong with 37s' and 4.56 gears. I plan on a Stroker rebuild sometime soon... however, can I get away with this for a...
