Paradigm SHIFT Crawl Box by Froehlich Suspension Tech

So how much for an extra main shaft? If I were to build it for a 231 now, and later decide to change to a D300. I realize do it right the first time, but D300 aren't a dime a dozen like 231s, plus you have the flip kit cost. thanks bz

    Water leak inside.....

Other things to check..... Mine had pin holes from rust in the floor boards. Everytime I drove in the rain, my carpet would get soaked. Eventually musty. Also, if you have vent windows in the doors, those seals can leak too like mine. I just patched up the floor, herculined it and drilled...

8.8 aussie locker & thrust washer problem

I ended up going to the junkyard and pulling a carrier and washers from an explorer. Worked out, still tighter than spec, but at least I could get the cross pin in. I talked to an engineer at aussie and he said my gaps would work out just fine. Had it in since May and it works great.

8.8 aussie locker & thrust washer problem

I've had a ford 8.8, 31 spline, 4.10 LSD in my jeep for a year or so now and I'm trying to put an aussie locker in it. Bought a new open carrier, thrust washers, and 7/8" cross pin from Randy's Ring and Pinion. (The LSD thrust washers are too big around to fit the open carrier). If I put...

    Local shops or chapter members.

right about the ford LS, I have an 8.8, 4.10 with the factory letten'er slip diff. It works until right when you really need it, then that tire stops. I didn't know they made an aussie for the 8.8 LS carrier. I will go that route if they do.

    Regearing / Fuel Economy Question

I couldn't tell you for a few days. I fixed some rust holes in the floor and my herculiner is drying as I type this. I'll try to remember to write down some numbers once I get it out of the garage and take it for a spin.

    Regearing / Fuel Economy Question

I think what he means is that once your vacuum gauge goes to zero, anymore throttle is just wasting fuel. It can't get anymore air (unless forced induction=boost). I had a subaru 2.5 RS (before the turbo WRX) that had a vacuum gauge and it would accelerate until the gauge hit zero, then it...
