We have also checked the timing. TDC, set distributor at 5 o'clock on #1. Jeep is still hard to start. But when it does it runs for a minute and quits. Real hot on the exhaust side. Does the crankshaft position sensor have anything to do with this?

Hey, I threw a rod in my 97 cherokee (4.0 inline 6) . I am going to a junk yard tommorow and was curious if there are any differences between the different years of cherokees. Also, are the inline 6's the same as my jeep in a wrangler (yj, tj) etc. Thanks.

Why don't you recommend that? If your saying that you don't recommend it because he doesn't want to trim then that is cool. I think 4.5'' and 33s are perfect. You get a perfect balance of everything imo. You really need to trim though, I don't see why people are afraid to. If you do a good job...

Looks awesome! Did you trim the inner fender. That thing is pretty sharp and will cut your tire up pretty good. I'm guessing you did since it looks like you know what your doin.

Yes. There is nothing in the way of the door coming off. I got it up about a 1/4'' with a screw driver and hamer. It won't move anymore thought.
