When I did my swap 3 years ago I ended up buying the whole hydraulic system setup from the dealer. It came as an assembled unit (master, hose, and slave) that was already filled and bled. The master cylinder and slave were both available at Advance Auto Parts, but the hose and fittings to...
All the power does go to the wheel that slips, a vast majority anyway. Its better than 2wd but not as good as a locking 4wd offroad. My friend had the 249 in his Grand Cherokee and swapped it for a 242. He kept his awd ability but now has a locking 4 high.
So you didn't install any of that yourself?
Removing the driveshaft wont help, but if you did remove the front one no fluid would come out.
If there is banging in your diff and you moved it at all, most likely stuff in there is so XXXXed up it isn't going to matter what you do. This one is...
I believe most cars are set up with some camber, which produces lateral forces on the tire. So any sort of missalignment or loose parts in the steering system could cause death wobble I suppose.

the upper is easy to place with the lower off, and then I usually get the lower on by controlling height with a floor jack and putting a bottle jack on top of the LCA and pushing the axle to where it needs to be.
My friend runs wheels that have hubs that are too large on his SRT neon, he beats on that thing all day long at auto crosses and hasn't had any problems. You just have to be more careful when putting the wheel on and tightening the lugs that you get the wheel centered.
Definitely check out junk...
Raise it up. I've seen at least a few rigs like this. Search here or Pirate. You can build supports or run the original straps under the tank. I wouldn't let it rest on the seem of the tank either.
So if I bought a dana 300 and ran it without flipping it... what axles would be good to buy? and besides the exhaust, what kind of problems are there with running it this way?
