Dana 44 Wheel Bearing Race Spun in Housing???

There was absolutely no issue with mine. It is not a press fit. I put it back together exactly like it came apart and it has been golden for a year and a half of mostly highway miles. No leaks, no noises, no burned diff oil. I wouldn't mess with it. I was used to working on c clip style axles...

Dana 44 Wheel Bearing Race Spun in Housing???

Thanks for the help fellas. However I am felling a bit stupid right now. For kicks, I went out and checked the other race. It is not press fit either. It falls out in my hand too. I think I was a little confused on how this works. I thought they were pressed in... maybe not? Maybe I am a freak...

Dana 44 Wheel Bearing Race Spun in Housing???

I am putting 4.56s in my TJ. Got the front done with no issues and I move to the rear end. It has the Dana 44. I get the gears set up no problem. Start to put the piece back together and I planned on fixing the leaky wheel seal and putting in a new wheel bearing. I go to pull the race out of the...

Late Model Rear Defrost Switch Wiring???

Ok I will look into it when I get the chance. I know I spliced into the light Blue/ White from the cluster and I just ran it straight to the switch. Hopefully the cluster will have a wire or something there that I can figure out where it goes in. Thank you!

Late Model Rear Defrost Switch Wiring???

Thank you Timber. I can't see much from that picture. I really appreciate you looking into it. Matthew- It isn't the relay. I tried a relay from my buddies 2001 and it is the same # and doesn't change a thing. So it the right relay and it is not blown. The relay is in the kick panel on the...

Late Model Rear Defrost Switch Wiring???

It is not in the relay because I went and got a factory relay and I am using the factory wiring from the loom out to the fuse box on the fender. The wiring comes in the firewall and terminates at the large loom plug under the dash. This is where the wiring goes into a blank socket, making sense...

Late Model Rear Defrost Switch Wiring???

The light only works when it is held down. In the instrument cluster? That is handy! Any way to hook up to it? Thank you!

Late Model Rear Defrost Switch Wiring???

I have been trying to figure out how the wiring works for a late model rear defrost and I have way more time in it than should be neccessary. Here is basically my dilema: I have a Bestop Hard Top on my TJ with defrost. My Tj came with a soft top from the factory and therefore doesn't have the...
