    I have a '94 XJ, 5 speed and I keep getting a knocking noise coming from the transmission. I can feel the knocking when I hold the shifter. It only happens when I am driving, and it is in all the gears. It seems to be worst at slower speeds. I have checked the transmission mount and u-joints...

    I just joined and was going to introduce myself. I am 19 a sophmore at NAU in flagstaff and got my first car a 94 XJ with 3 inch lift. I like hunting, fishing and wheeling in the mud and snow. I am just starting to turn it in to a offroad monster, this seems like the right place to be.
