From what I have read about them they are a solid tire. pricey and heavy though. Large sizes too. If I remember right smallest was a 35. Petersens had a good write up from their tests. Deffinatly an off road tire, loud as a bogger.
xo. on the alternator. Correct me if I'm wrong but does't the alt. have a voltage reg. on the back of it. Might be thinkin of the Delco alt.? If the reg. is bad, could over-charge, and blow the fuse.
Just in case you haven't found the problem yet. I had similar problems but found out that the wire harness under the drivers feet area had been corroded through. Rust on the floor board had eaten through the harness. Had to cut and splice the wires back together. Good luck finding which...
sometimes the purpotioning valve sticksto the front side. when it senses the rears have to much of a preesure loss the valve will compesate and send the pressure to the front. after the brake job was done they (the purpotioning valve) sometimes sticks.
speaking of a dana thirty... i have a '93 cherokee country w/ d30, d35, and 242tc. my question is whether the d30s have diferent size axle shafts. not spline counts but dia. i broke a u-joint, which in turn broke the ear off the in short shaft. had an extra d30 sitting around out of a '93...
