For a N00B run, I'd strongly recommend Tahuya. Stockers can do this run if they wanted to, which makes it's a good way for folks to decide if they like doing this off-road thing or not. :) If we're talking more about trail-ready rigs, I'm all for Reiter Pit or Evan's Creek! If I can even...

If I remember, a stock XJ with 31's won't fair well at Evan's Creek. My TJ wasn't really up to the task when I was stock either. If you're looking for a good starting point for wheeling, Tahuya is a great start! I'd go with you sometime if you're interested.
