I am running the RE4.5 lift but I did the bastard rear leaf pack and am not running a SYE. I did put in all new ujoints at the same time as the lift. I have been running like this for 7 months now and have not had any vibes. My truck never see's speeds of about 55 though, I'm running 34 TSL's...

skinny is the way to go, after my RE4.5 lift I did some trimming and put on some 34x9.5 TSL's, tucks nicely into the wells when flexed out....

I ripped both of mine off last trip out, just bent them in half, chucked them in the back of my truck and when I got home chucked them in the trash. Was going to sand and paint the roof anyway, now I will just paint the gutter rails to...........

What are the average lifetimes of tranny and motor mounts? (stock ones, that is) I've been having a hard clunking sound mostly hitting bumps in the road at 30+ MPH. Seems to come from the front left, but hard to know for sure. It's hard to get out and nail down where the sound is coming from...

I lincoln lock me d30 and put in the posi-lock cable, works great if you are not really hard on it and have extra shafts for when you break out on the trail. With the disco axle disingaged you can run down the street fine, only difference the front driveline is spinning so you may get some...

This is our second vehicle so it is not driven every day, but it is used for getting groceries and some running around town. Was not planning on doing an axle swap until next winter when I will be going Ford 9" and HP44 with leaf spring all around

I have the posi-lock set up on my 91 xj and was thinking of just lincoln locking the front. Will I run into drivability issues when the front axle is disconnected while driving on the street? I already have extra shafts and joints for trail breakage, just wondering about being on the street.

The blower motor quit working, the resistor pack is good, I ran jumper wires to the blower and it works fine. So my late night thinking was to just run the blower motor to a switch as a temporary fix. I did that so now I have the fan working off of a toggle switch on the dash to give me heat...

so, I took the resistor pack from my buddies xj that I know works and I still have nothing.....could it be the actual switch that went bad? Help.........

I've searched but am not sure what is going on. My motor was only working on Hi, but now it is not working at all.....what could it be?

I'll go out and check that out at lunch time. Is there an inexpensive way to go to a manual type switch and do away with the vacuum lines?

It's a 91, just lifted and new motor installed so it is probably something simple just haven't had time to look into it........
