My 2000 Xj did the same thing years ago. I changed the crank PS, was not the problem.
I eventually found a bad connection at the cam PS, my fault, repaired connection-fixed.
I use the lowest price of dex/merc. I tried mobile 1 full synthetic years ago and found that it caused torque converter slippage confirmed by lower stall speed. After flushing system stall returned to normal. 2200 rpm’s if memory serves.
This is what sparked my curiosity about the fusible link. The highest amp load we would have is from our winch’s, during a hard pull it would be four to five hundred amps. I suppose it would depend on the condition of the battery and how many you had. I run two optimas.
Thought’s?
2000 Xj with factory injectors. How many holes would they have?
What was the torque and HP changes on on the Dino?
How much was your fuel mileage effected?
Information would be greatly appreciated.
How many miles were the trans? It should be a AW4, which is a very strong.
When you go to 33s regear to 4.56 or 4.88.
I run 33x10.5 Toyo with 4.88 gears.
