    Clutch Reservoir issue

Hello all. I have 91 XJ with the AX-15 transmission. I noticed it was a little tougher to put it in gear and checked the clutch reservoir. It’s pretty much empty and from the looks of it the PO replaced this at some point. It doesn’t have a full line and the cap doesn’t have plug. I’m not sure...

    Gouge on Rear diff

Hello all. I have a decent sized gouge on my rear differential (Dana 35) It’s not very deep but goes most of the way across the face. Rear Differential Oil Towing once

Hello all. I have a 91 xj 4.0 manual 4x4. I’m going to be hauling under 2k lbs total in trailer and will have a decent amount of weight in the back as well. I’m curious if I need to change out the rear diff to 75w140 for a single 500 mile trip or if I’m ok with the 80w90 in it now. I changed...

    JKS quicker disconnect install

I have a 91 XJ 4x4 and installed the JKS quicker disconnects today and had a few issues, observations and questions I thought I'd share. It went smoothly except one of the button head bolt's Allen socket stripped when I was torquing it down. I read a couple reviews that mentioned this but...

    Track bar and bracket issue

Hello all, So here’s the backstory. I have 1991 XJ to had little over a 3 inch when I bought it. The previous owner didn’t have receipts or much of a memory so I’m a little in the dark on the parts he used. I think however it’s a RE 1600 adjustable track bar and the stock bracket. It creaks...
