hey doc, thanx for the help. i followed your proceedure and i have a thumping sound in the engine. it sounds like it wants to start the it boggs down.

bad timing. I put new piston rings and over head job on it. New cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. I went to go and start it up the first time it backfires through the intake. I went by the sh$t@ss manual and got the same results. thanx for the time.

any suggestions?

it still dosn't start. the cps is good, in time, and has fuel pressure. the only symtom is starter turns but drain the battery.

I FEEL LIKE A DA. The ohm meter was set on 2M. now that wouldn't work now would it. thanks again. i'm trying the timeing today.

has a effect on the abs. if not used in right systems it wears the o-rings out at accelerated rate. and it can stick valves in some adv. abs systems. best to stick to OEM

my CPS had a ohm of 0.00 what does that mean

that almost looks like a punched out glass-pack or cherry bomb. I own a 91 wagoner that looks nothing like mine
