Howdy, so this has stumped me for many months and I have no idea what it is. But when I start my jeep and it is idling it will begin to whistle really loudly and it sounds like it is coming from my AC lines?? Does any one know what this is and how to fix it?
i cut my back fenders just like you did, what i did was weld the up. it is tough cause of the thin body, but it worked really well for me. then grind them down and i put some rinolining on it and looks great
howdy, so i am making a rear bumper and i dont know how to mount it safely to my jeep cause of the uni body.. what a couple of people have told me to do is cut the bolt patter out of the old bumper and weld a peace of steal there, yes that will work. but i would like to have recovery points on...
i did the same thing to my jeep. i cut past the spot welding points and i had to pinch and weld my fenders back together. then i ground them down flush and going to put herculiner on them so they dont rust
i have an 88 xj too, and it does that to me a lot. the only way that i can get it back down is to gas it a bit and sometimes it will come back down. if not, turn it off and wait a couple mins
